Conversations with Inessa Grigoryeva

Today we’d like to introduce you to Inessa Grigoryeva

Inessa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Beauty industry was always in my mind. From childhood I was doing nails and hair styles for my friends. But at that time I didn’t turn it into my profession. I studied psychology and worked as a bartender. Hospitality industry took a big part of my life. I’ve been working in hospitality business for over a 19years.
I had been working on huge cruise line company for almost a 10 years.
During my vacations I spent my time learning new things and nails were one of them. I have an arty heart and nail art combined 2 things. Passion for painting and money.
Few years back I quit my bartending job and became an entrepreneur. I opened my little nail studio in Florida. In a year it became bigger, I became more popular, not only because of my nail job, but also for my open and friendly personality.
On April I moved to Michigan, and started my nail journey from zero. I can see big potential in here for building a bigger and more successful business in here

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m a 2 times immigrant. I was born in Uzbekistan, Tashkent city. At he age of 7 we moved to Russia, in a very small city, lived by the forest near the railway station, at the age of 17 I moved to a bigger city, and at 23 moved to USA. I was always dreaming about it.
To start a completely new life and career is always a struggle. I had fears, doubts, uncertainty.
I wasn’t sure if I’ll be able to build a new life somewhere. But my desire was stronger than all of this, and I made that step and never regretted

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m specialized on Russian manicure and Dry pedicure. It’s a completely new technique in nail industry. During the prosedure, skin around the nail is removed “dry” with special rotating nail drills, which really look more like instruments from a dental office. The result is divinely soft hands and beautiful nails without extra cuticles. For Russian manicure I use only high quality gels, builder gels, gel-polishes.
Dry pedicure is a new era in pedicures. Now we don’t need to soak feet in a tabs. Dry pedicure has numerous benefits, like safety, it’s tougher on dry skin, nail polish lasts longer. I do work also with problematic toes, like in-grown nails.
I completed lots of courses and continue learning to help my clients with their nail problems

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
During the Covid-19 I learned how to pause a life for a little and enjoy the moments in our life. It was a time to reconsider things and make a new choices
