Today we’d like to introduce you to Delano Glass.
Hi Delano, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in the music industry. I worked & toured with many artists. I did marketing & tour promotions on 2 tours for the artist Prince. I did the Jam Of The Year Tour & also the emancipation tour. I also did a tour with Slum Village & J Dilla. Tribe Called Quest was on the tour also. I also helped start an entertainment magazine called “Spotlight Entertainment Magazine.” after the tours ended. I did my 1st film in 2012 with Ken Baker Jr. That is when I met my current business partner Bill H. McKinney III. We connected and proceeded to produce many film projects & also started a streaming network before it became a popular thing to do. After producing many films & television series we started Global Picture Studios & Distribution where we used our connections to empower many up and coming filmmakers. We eventually added a third business partner named Mellanie Knox and we are currently in the process of opening our own 25,000 sq foot production studios in Downtown Detroit to debut Aug/Sep 2026.

Never a smooth road. You run into many obstacles along the way but you have to persevere and keep God first in your journey
