Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Zebell.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My husband and I had just gotten back from a week long vacation in the dead of winter and it was the weekend, we weren’t ready for our vacation to end yet. We stumbled across an event happening at Czar’s. It was everything we liked, live music, Jimmy Buffet themed, and raising money for a charity. We knew it would be a great time. Little did we know that it would be a part of our lives! We were introduced to the Parrot heads of our community and didn’t hesitate to join. It’s an amazing group of people and we are working to assist our community with environmental projects and assist nonprofits with donations. We do these things all while having a great time! Hence the term “Party with a Purpose” ! I encourage everyone that likes to have fun, build lasting friendships, and loves live music to join.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I hate to bring up the Covid year! It put some obstacles in our efforts on putting together some of our events.
The other obstacle is membership. We try to spread awareness of our community, however, we are always looking for new members.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We “Party for a Purpose”! Our events are filled with fun. Our events are set apart from others by our live music, our entertainment is provided by talented musicians who are down to earth and want to speak with their audience as well as contribute to the cause. Everything we do is based on how Jimmy Buffet lived his life and we are here to continue his legacy.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is setting a goal and exceeding it!
