Conversations with Chelsea Olsen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Olsen.

Hi Chelsea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I am 20 years old, I graduated from Lake City High School in 2020. I am engaged to Dylen Webster and I have one dog named Josie, she’s a golden retriever, Australian Shepherd. I started fashion modeling in late August of 2021. I’ve always had an interest in the industry when I was younger but I was afraid to pursue it. I wasn’t confident with myself or my body.

I grew up around a lot of negativity, “you can’t do this” “you won’t be able to do that”. I had no support in anything I wanted to do. I woke up one day decided to take that negative energy and put it towards the career I wanted. Modeling has helped me see the beauty in myself, no matter my size, build my confidence, not care about others negative opinions. With this, I’d like to help other women feel good about themselves and show that any women can do it and shouldn’t be afraid too.

I plan to further my career into social media marketing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For me, it has not been a very smooth road. I lost a lot of relationships, with family, friends. I’ve had to figure out adulting/life on my own and I feel I’ve been doing good so far!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am fashion modeling. I model from general fashion to boudoir

I am very proud of myself because modeling takes you way out of your comfort zone and I conquered my fear of putting myself out there.

I am known to be fun, energetic and I love to help others.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I spent a lot of time with friends and my siblings. We lived out in the country so during the summer days we would go trail riding, going to the beach, or shopping. I’m big with shopping! I was one of the quiet/shy girls that wasn’t very outgoing and scared to try new things.
