Conversations with Carson Matranga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carson Matranga.

Hi Carson, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started with dance. I’ve always loved entertaining people, so I started posting dance videos online. Then I met Brielle, and we started creating couple dance content on TikTok. Over time, our content naturally evolved into lifestyle and family content as we got married, had kids, and shared our everyday lives—including building and living in a tiny home.

I balanced social media with a full-time job for years before deciding to pursue it full-time about two weeks after our son was born. Looking back, it’s been an incredible journey, and we’re grateful we get to do what we love while bringing so many people along with us.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course it hasn’t been a smooth road. Like anyone, we’ve had our share of struggles and hard seasons. But honestly, those moments don’t compare to the positive impact we’ve been able to have on people’s lives. Every day we get messages from people saying one of our videos made them smile, helped them through a tough day, or brought their family together. That’s what we choose to focus on.

There will always be challenges, but we’ll never let them outweigh the blessing of getting to do what we love and hopefully make someone’s day a little better.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What I’m most proud of is definitely the community. It’s crazy seeing people who’ve been following us for years and watching our family grow right alongside us.

I don’t know if there’s one thing that sets us apart. There’s a lot of amazing family creators out there. I just think we’re ourselves. We don’t try to put on a character when the camera turns on. We’re just us.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think it’s going to keep evolving, just like it always has. Platforms will change, trends will come and go, and the way people consume content will probably keep changing too.

But I think one thing will always stay the same: people want to connect with people. I don’t think that’s ever going away. The creators who continue to be themselves and build real relationships with their audience are the ones who’ll be around for the long run.

Our goal has never been to chase every trend. We just want to keep creating content that we’re proud of, adapt when we need to, and hopefully keep bringing people along with us for years to come.
