Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Stephanoff.
Hi Bianca, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a planner. In high school, I loved organizing special moments for my friends, but it really clicked during my senior year when I helped a friend plan their Promposal. It was so much fun, and something about the process just felt natural. At the time, I never considered planning as a career. It wasn’t until college that the idea truly took root.
Once I realized that wedding planning was what I wanted to pursue professionally, I enrolled in a Wedding and Event Planning certification program through Schoolcraft College. During that course, I met a planner who took me under her wing and mentored me. She taught me so much and really shaped the foundation of my career. It’s wild to think that was nearly ten years ago!
I officially launched my own company in 2021, and by 2022, I was able to take the leap into full-time planning. Since then, I’ve had the honor of working with so many wonderful couples, and each wedding I plan reinforces why I love what I do. It’s about more than logistics, it’s about creating intentional, beautiful, and deeply personal celebrations.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been the smoothest of roads, but I truly believe when you put your heart and soul into something all the bumps are worth it in the end. Like any small business, especially in a creative service-based industry, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that people don’t always see. When I started Belle Event Co., I already had a great sense of how to plan weddings and events, but I had zero idea how to run a business.
But every challenge has made me better at what I do. This career takes heart, resilience, and a lot of behind the scenes work. I feel really grateful to be where I am now, doing what I love full time, but it absolutely took (and still takes) a lot of hard work, learning, and persistence.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a full-service wedding planner and designer, and I specialize in creating personalized celebrations that feel like an authentic reflection of my couples. My focus is on thoughtful, elevated experiences – from the first meeting to the last dance. I love combining the logistical side of planning with intentional design, and I’m most known for bringing a calming presence to what can sometimes feel like a very overwhelming process.
One thing I’m most proud of is how much trust my clients place in me. I don’t take it lightly that I’m walking alongside them during such an important chapter. It’s an honor every time. I’ve had clients tell me they felt seen, cared for, and truly celebrated and to me, that means everything.
I’ve always wondered what truly sets me apart, but after doing this for so long, I think it’s how much thought and care I pour into every single wedding. I treat each celebration as if it were my own, thinking through every detail, anticipating every need, and really getting to know my couples so their wedding feels personal, intentional, and full of heart. It’s never just another event to me. It’s a story I get to help tell, one I take to heart every single time.
What’s next?
As Belle Event Co. continues to grow, my vision is to keep refining and elevating the client experience while staying rooted in intentionality and heart. I want to continue curating weddings that feel deeply personal, artfully designed, and incredibly meaningful.
Looking ahead, my focus is on deepening the level of service and personalization I offer. I want to continue growing Belle Event Co. by taking on more full-service clients – couples who are looking for a truly hands-on, tailored planning and design experience from start to finish.
More than anything, I want Belle Event Co. to remain a space where love stories are honored and where every client feels supported from start to finish.
