Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelina Richardson.

Hi Angelina , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey in high school with a deep passion for beauty, forming my LLC, Elite Style and Beauty, in 2015. While working full-time in the mortgage industry, I gained hands-on experience part-time in various spas. After losing 275 pounds and discovering an incredible skin-tightening treatment, I was inspired to officially open my spa doors in 2020 and fully step into my purpose.

I began with permanent makeup, originally wanting to serve cancer survivors, and my passion grew from there. I earned certifications from leading companies and became a franchise owner using top-tier, clinically studied equipment in the industry—trusted tools proven to deliver results. I launched my Mindful Beauty program using Neveskin (formerly Cryoskin), Endermologie, the Cocoon Pod, and more to help sculpt, tone, and rejuvenate the body without surgery.

As I grew, I added medically supported weight-loss tools, including GLP-1 injections and pill options—methods I used in my transformation. I’m proud of the strong relationships I’ve built with medical teams and partners who support my mission of complete beauty, wellness, and transformation.

Everything I do is rooted in discipline, education, and a one-on-one approach. I focus on guiding each client through custom programs that target beauty, body, and mind for lasting results. It’s not just about looking good—it’s about total harmony and long-term care.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, the road definitely hasn’t been smooth—but I never went back to mortgages. I stuck it out and kept pushing forward. When I first launched my business, my very first location was inside a mall where I leased 3,000 square feet of salon space. At the time, it was a bold move and a great way to get started. But as I began growing and shaping my vision into more of a luxury wellness spa experience, I quickly realized the salon-style setup just didn’t match where I was heading.

Unfortunately, the mall wasn’t on board with converting the space into a spa, so I had to make a tough decision—and I chose to move on and elevate. I’ve had to overcome a lot, from changing locations and navigating partnerships that didn’t work out, to figuring out how to scale a wellness business while still offering personal, hands-on care.

There were plenty of chances to quit—but I didn’t. I’ve seen others with the same equipment not get results simply because the passion wasn’t there. I offer more than treatments—I provide a full lifestyle transformation plan. That includes weight-loss options, nutrition guidance, juicing education, client follow-ups, and body measurements to track real progress.

Even with a small team, I run my business like a well-oiled machine. Every challenge has shaped me, and I’m proud to say I’ve built something that truly transforms lives—starting with my own.

At Mindful Beauty, I specialize in non-invasive body sculpting, skin tightening, holistic wellness, and permanent makeup—all through a transformative approach that blends cutting-edge technology with total body and mind care. I’m known for my signature Mindful Beauty Program, a full-service experience that not only helps clients shape and tone their bodies, but also supports them mentally, emotionally, and nutritionally.

What sets me apart is my personal connection to the work—I lost over 275 pounds and used many of the same treatments and tools I now offer. I don’t offer quick fixes—I offer a full transformation journey, with education, accountability, and a real human connection every step of the way. My clients don’t just come for beauty—they come for balance, breakthrough, and lasting wellness.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Honestly, I didn’t have traditional mentors—but, I became a student of the journey. Most of what I’ve learned came from investing in educational workshops, schools, and marketing companies to run ads, watching countless videos, and signing up for free workshops—sometimes purchasing coaching programs, sometimes realizing I already knew what was being taught just from experience.

One key moment came in 2016, when my hairstylist introduced me to permanent makeup. That sparked my interest and led me down a new path where I started studying industry trends and following top artists who were truly transforming lives. One woman in particular inspired me deeply—watching her grow and impact clients around the world helped me see the potential in my work.

I’ve also been blessed with amazing friends who supported me in quiet but, powerful ways—just showing up for me when I needed it most. But overall, this journey has been about self-discipline, resilience, and a deep hunger to keep learning and evolving. I’ve had to fight for every step, and that’s what makes this work—and this mission—so meaningful to me.
