Today we’d like to introduce you to Allie Everhart.
Hi Allie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started experimenting with different ways to express my creativity and started taking pictures of myself! I love fashion, beauty, makeup & photography and decided to give modeling a try. I made a portfolio and was eventually signed by a boutique mother agency in Detroit for a trial period. Now, I work on a freelance basis.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I didn’t know anyone or anything about the industry when I started. I also started in my late 20’s. I almost didn’t even pursue it because I thought I was too old. I had never been to a fashion show before. But, I continued my journey despite all of this and am so grateful for everyone I have met along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a freelance model specializing in mostly lifestyle and editorial content. I am open to exploring and expanding my portfolio to other concepts and ideas for example conceptual photography.
I received an invitation to participate in Coco Rocha’s Model Camp in New York. I’m really excited about that opportunity.
I’m very open minded and willing to explore new concepts and ideas.
How do you think about happiness?
Living life as your most authentic self. Exploring my passions makes me very happy. I love to sing, play the piano and dance. I started playing piano when I was 5. Music holds such a special place in my heart.
