Hi Adrienne Michael , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our story began at the College for Creative Studies, where we both majored in photography and worked under the same incredible professors. Our shared passion for storytelling through imagery led us to photographing weddings in 2012, and we’ve been loving every minute of it ever since.

Beyond weddings, we’ve built a creative space in Royal Oak, where we document boudoirs, families, and newborns. Our studio is more than just a workspace—it’s a place where we celebrate love, connection, and the beauty of everyday moments.

We feel incredibly blessed because this isn’t just a job, it’s our passion, and we get to do it with our bestie! We’re a fun and loving group of creatives who thrive on capturing people’s genuine, authentic selves. Our work has taken us all over the world, photographing weddings in breathtaking destinations like Turks and Caicos, Colorado, California, Florida, Lake Geneva, Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Tahquamenon Falls, and even Greece!

As best friends and business partners, we’re constantly inspired by the people we meet and the stories we get to tell. Every shoot is an opportunity to create something meaningful, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Like any journey, ours hasn’t always been a smooth road. There have definitely been learning curves along the way, especially when it comes to finding the right work/life balance and setting boundaries. When you love what you do, it’s easy to pour everything into it, but we’ve learned that taking time for ourselves is just as important for staying creative and energized. It’s a work in progress, but we’re continuously growing and evolving.

Every wedding presents new and different challenges, whether it’s unexpected weather, timeline changes, or unique venue logistics. Thankfully, we’re quick thinkers and pride ourselves on being adaptable. No matter what comes our way, we always find a way to navigate it and ensure our couples have the best experience possible.

At the end of the day, every challenge has made us stronger, and we wouldn’t trade this journey for anything!

Photography is our passion, and we specialize in capturing life’s most beautiful moments—weddings, boudoirs, newborns, babies, and family sessions. While these are our main focuses, we’re always excited to collaborate and try something new when the opportunity arises! Every shoot is different, and that’s what keeps us inspired.

We’re most known for our wedding photography, boudoir sessions, newborn photography, and our fun, fast-paced mini session days. One of the things we love most is that our work takes us all over the world—we’ve had the privilege of traveling far and wide to document love stories in breathtaking destinations.

We are incredibly proud of what we’ve built. Starting our business from the ground up and growing into full-time entrepreneurs has been an amazing journey. We’ve been honored with The Knot’s Best of Weddings award 13 times, along with the Hall of Fame award and other industry recognitions. But beyond the accolades, what truly makes us proud is the experience we create for our clients.

What sets us apart is our genuine excitement for every couple and family we work with. We’re easygoing, full of energy, and committed to making every session a fun and unforgettable experience. We bring all the happy vibes, and you can count on us to be your biggest hype gals! Plus, being best friends who practically finish each other’s thoughts without speaking makes the entire process seamless. We love what we do, and we pour that love into every single shoot!

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To us, success isn’t measured by numbers or accolades—it’s about happiness and fulfillment. It’s about feeding our creative minds, maintaining a healthy work/life balance, and building strong relationships with other talented vendors in our industry.

Success is the fact that we get to travel the world with our best friend, doing what we love while constantly feeling inspired. It’s the joy of capturing raw, beautiful moments and seeing the happiness on our clients’ faces when we show them a photo we just took. That instant spark, that emotional reaction—it’s everything.

At the end of the day, success is about passion, connection, and staying true to what makes us happy. As long as we’re creating, inspiring, and spreading good energy, we know we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
