Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Shreeta Salon & Spa is not just a business; it’s a lifelong journey rooted in tradition and a deep respect for nature. Named after my parents, Shyam and Reeta, Shreeta embodies their teachings and values. Growing up, my father’s passion for Ayurveda and my mother’s nurturing care instilled in me a love for natural wellness.

After graduating in Accountancy and Business from Delhi University and working in journalism at Sahara Samay News Channel, I moved to the US. The fast-paced environment made me realize the immense value of the natural practices I grew up with. In 2021, after losing my mother to COVID-19, I felt a deep need to honor her legacy. This led to the creation of Shreeta Salon & Spa—a place that promotes holistic wellness using herbal and organic treatments.

At Shreeta Salon & Spa, we believe in true beauty that comes from within. Our treatments are crafted to work in harmony with the body’s natural processes, using the finest natural ingredients. We offer facials, hot oil Head massages, hair spas, haircuts, back facials, and henna services. Our goal is to provide a sanctuary where people can relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect with themselves, leaving behind harsh chemicals and embracing the power of nature.

I also want to educate people to live with herbs—leading a no-chemical, no-side-effects life. Herbal and organic products are not only safe for us but also beneficial for nature and the earth. By choosing these products, we enhance our well-being and contribute to a healthier planet.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Coming from a working family, I had no prior knowledge of business. I was the first in my family to venture into entrepreneurship, and it took a lot of time and effort to establish my salon. Learning how to run a business from scratch was a long and challenging journey. I’m still learning and facing new challenges every day.

Though I’m confident in the quality of my work, I’m seeking a mentor to help me navigate the business side of things. When building my salon, I focused on finding cost-effective services to save money, but I’ve realized that prioritizing time over money is more important for long-term growth.

Marketing has been one of my biggest struggles. I feel that I have a great space to help people with herbal, no-chemical services, but I’m still unsure how to reach those people.

Even though it’s a new business, the positive feedback I’ve received from clients reassures me that I’m on the right track. The journey is still challenging, but I’m committed to making it work!

We specialize in facials, hot oil Head massages, hair spas, haircuts, and back facials, all with a focus on using natural, eco-friendly, and effective ingredients that nurture the skin and hair without causing any harm.

“I’m confident that, over time, I will be able to help many people embrace the power of nature and herbs for their beauty and wellness needs. My goal is to change the perception that we need harsh chemicals or painful procedures to get great results. Through Shreeta Salon & Spa, I want to show that living with herbs and natural ingredients is not only possible, but also very effective. Herbs and nature can do more than just improve our skin and hair—they can also help us live happier, healthier lives. By using natural products in our daily routines, we can achieve better overall well-being. I believe that as more people learn about it, they will see how much of a positive impact living naturally can have on their health and happiness.
