Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Dixon.
Hi Samuel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve grown up in the Seventh-day Adventist faith, and was encouraged to study and serve in SDA organizations. After college, I found myself more curious about who Jesus is at the heart, and I wanted my undiscovered career to be in harmony with the person of Jesus Christ. But I found it difficult to do it within the confines of Seventh-day Adventist organizations.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was a struggle wanting to be loved in an unconditional way by those who I had to earn love from, and earn their favor. I didn’t like that my world view opposing theirs would actually turn a heart cold away me.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Based on the Curse/blessing toward Adam and every man found in Genesis 3:17-19 “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow thou shalt eat of it all the days of your life, thorns and thistels shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken, for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
This is the most simple remedy for a man’s good. And I accept it. I used to volunteer and work the soil for other people. Now I have the simple blue print to just do it, it doesn’t matter with who, or where.
I find the best fruits and vegetables that surprise me and I save those seeds for planting.
I specialize in volunteer work, so that I,myself, and other people can see me for who I really am during service without money being involved.
What sets me apart from others is that I want us the be apart of eachothers lives forever.
Im most proud of the fact that this brand is one of the first divinely inspired ideas to help men not fail. And the fact that the power in the soil does the impossible of make plants grow throughout the seasons.
I want readers to know that we are always involved with the ground unapologetically for the health and well being of others. I want readers to know that every soul is highly valued, just like every plant has a value.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I always wanted something fun to do. I was constantly outside before Nintendo came into my life at the age of eight. I would get bored easily. And if my friends were bored, I tried to make us something to be happy about, like a dish, a drink, or a game involving those things. I like to make people happy through cooking and music and physical stunts through strength training.
