Today we’d like to introduce you to Preston Sain.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
BIO Preston Sain is a Multi Award Winning Community Stakeholder & the Curator of the City of Champions Brand, with a Goal of helping West Michigan develop into its Worldclass potential, infrastructure wise while supporting, uplifting & celebrating the cities Sports, Business & Community Champions + Pioneers.
Preston is also Founder & President of Black Wallstreet USA Ambassadors (a diverse national Coalition constructed to advocate,architect,invest & Construct Black Wallstreet Districts of small businesses & affordable housing in the underinvested urban communities of America.
Sain is also Co Founder & President of Black Wallstreet Grand Rapids.
Black Wallstreet Grand Rapids is an economic and tourism development project
As founder and president, Preston Sain’s role, along with co-founders, team members and partners, is to obtain and develop real estate and other acquisitions to build Black entrepreneurship and business districts + help Black Entrepreneurs connect their products for mass production in Manfacturing in West Michigan.
BWSGR’s goal is to produce diversity, inclusion, equity-ownership, job creation, wealth, economic stimulation and cultural tourism, as well as create safer and thriving Black communities in the greater Grand Rapids area, all in an effort to make Grand Rapids a “world class diverse city.”
(From Worst to 1st as Grand Rapids was ranked 2nd Worst City Economically for Blacks in the USA according Forbes in 2015 & mainly
still in 2025.)
Also, Sain serves as a National Brand Ambassador / investor in the Junk Removal industry & is the the co-founder & Director of the multi award Winning Grand City Sports (Founded & incorporated in 2008), a historic nonprofit 501(c)3 that “restores and refocuses” at-risk youth through sports, education, community events, programming and online advocacy.

w/a positioning of Investor/Investor Relations for the Private Equity investment sector in the Industry of manufactured Goods & Products, Junk Removal, Real Estate, Construction, Sports, Museums & more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The resilience and patience to work a vision or multiple visions into full fruition is always a Challenge. The time it takes to build the right relationships, alignment of teams, partners, supporters, investors & systems for start to finish execution is also a challenge.These crucial steps can take years…but absolutely neccessary.

Grand Rapids City of Champions community service organization inspired by my Historic city as well as my Wife and our 3 kids.
MISSION: Supporting, Inspiring + Uplifting The Mental Health & overall wellness of West Michiganders through sports, programs, events & Philanthropy.
VISION: Building a Champion City of people, places & hearts.
One of my Primary focus is building out my team to build the City of Champions Mayweather Museum.
The World Famous Mayweather Family is from my Hometown Grand Rapids Michigan.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is statically the Greatest Boxer that ever Lived & in Boxing History, known worldwide as TBE ( The Best Ever).
The Muesuem will celebrate the Legacy of Floyd Mayweather Jr and The Fighting Mayweathers ( Floyd SR, Roger Mayweather, Jeff Mayweather, ) The Mayweather Family and Community Greats of all races throughout West Michigan History.
We have 3 different Buildings we are targeting for the MUESUEM in Downtown Grand Rapids Michigan.
We are also planning on building a COC Mayweather Sportsplex Facility in Kentwood Michigan that would consist of a Skating Rink, Fitness Center, Basketball Court, Boxing Gym, Football turf field etc. This Facility would be membership based.
I also have a Mayweather Cannabis Brand partnered with Stacy L Mayweather planned for National Franchising. We will be accepting qualified investors very soon more accurately the top of 2026.
Lastly I have a growing COMMITEE that I started around 2022 to campaign and established The Floyd Mayweather Jr statue, Street name and Fighting Mayweathers Statue in Grand Rapids Michigan.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I come from a 2 Parent Home southeast Side Grand Rapids. Chris Sain Sr & Glorie Sain.
I’m the youngest of 3 brothers (oldest Jahaun, 2nd oldest Chris Jr)
I was raised to Love & trust God, instilled by Grand Parents, Parents & uncles.
Growing up I was always popular but quiet, reserved,..I only really open up around close ones. I also was a academic scholar in Grade School.
I was ranked nationally academically in 1998 in the USA Scholars directory ( Volume 34) as a student at Iroquiois middle school.
Mr. Joel Veldeer was my academic counselor that submitted my credentials to become ranked the top in the USA.
I also have a aggressive side as well, but it will only be revealed when needed.
Growing up I always played Sports. In High school,
I was a 3 Sport athlete freshman
year ( Football, Basketball, Track )
I ran varsity track as a Freshman, played Junior Varsity Football as a freshman, then 3 years of Varsity Football starting since sophomore year.
My coaches were The Legends Jerry Dutcher, Huemartin Robinson, Charles Ruffin, & coach Stokes to name a few.
I was selected GR Press All- City Honorable mention Defensive back in Football and crowned Homecoming King both at Ottawa Hills High of Grand Rapids Public Schools.
Most say i have always been cool, somewhat stylish…my exterior image or “persona” can be polarizing or appear unapproachable or arrogant. However people that know me or that have met me will tell you that I’m chill, respectful, humble.
