Hi Olivia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Apple Valley Events was established as an event venue in 2023, but our story goes back further than that! The barn was originally built in 1976 and used as an apple storage building. In 2020, the barn was refinished with 32 feet added onto it! Owners, Chad and John, had a bigger vision for how the barn could be of a benefit to the community and in 2023 we finally made it happen. Sitting beautifully on the ridge, we have grown into a space of celebration, from weddings, to baby showers and graduation events and more!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Event spaces across the city of Sparta have faced some challenges in regard to safety regulations and capacity limits, however with immense support from the community we have overcome these struggles. Apple Valley Events is working side by side with the Fire Chief of Sparta and happily operating safely with appropriate precautions in place.
As you know, we’re big fans of Apple Valley Events. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Apple Valley Events is an industrial, modern barn venue that hosts events of all kinds! Our unique, open floor concept allows our clients a wide range of freedom in setting up an individualized event plan. We have several garage doors that facilitate a smooth indoor to outdoor transition for dual use of the space. The wrap around bar also provides an alternative seating option for those interested in a different setting.
We strive to be a venue that feels both elevated and welcoming. Our goal is to meet our clients where they are at and build a reputation of trust and professionalism.
We are now booking 2026 and 2027 events! With a wide range of rental options, we would love to help you celebrate your next event!
