Oksana Moceri

Hi Oksana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Wedding is every girl’s princess moment, it’s a fairy tale, it’s a dream come true, and wedding dress is a piece of the bridal puzzle which makes your guest admire your beauty, makes your parents tear up with joy, makes your lucky groom speechless and makes bride the queen of the night! Wedding is emotional, magical, I would say sacred event which unites two people and bring them into new phase of their life and being a part of this process is my great honor! I grew up in Odessa, Ukraine – a resort city where style and fashion were not neglected by any means My father was a fantastic Taylor well known in my hometown, who designed clothes, fur coats, business attire, and much more. I always had exclusive pieces handmade by him, but only now I got to understand and appreciate the true value of exquisite work he was putting into every detail. Despite my father’s insisting, I never had enough patience to keep a needle and a thread in my hands, but I did love to draw new designs, come up with “difficult” patterns, and sketch unusual necklines and elaborate sleeves. Back in Ukraine, I got a degree in economics, however, passion for creative work and attachment to women’s fashion were implanted deep inside of me.

After moving to United States, my passion for creativity only grew stronger. I taught runway at Barbizon school of modeling and truly enjoyed seeing how different models looked and felt on a stage in different clothing pieces.

In 2021, I was presented with a fantastic opportunity to work with Ukrainian wedding fashion designers. Not only I get to present their absolutely fabulous brands here in US, but I also got to implement my vision and design my own pieces. For me it was a great opportunity to continue creative work I always loved, honoring my father’s talent and dedication and introduce Ukrainian designers to American market. Last year we got a great new addition to our business-bridal jewelry! All of our pieces are handmade by Ukrainian craft masters and can be fully customized per client’s request.

Credit for naming my boutique is going to my sister Olga. When she mentioned “LeBori ” (accent on

“I” I had a goosebumps on my skin. That was exactly what I was looking for! LeBori is a short version of our maiden name and our father’s name. “Bridal vault” portion came a little later when I leased the space that was a bank in 1875. After some remodeling, I got to keep most of the bank’s history in place including walk-in vault that currently serves as a dressing room. This is how LeBori Bridal Vault was born!

I am proudly presenting Ukrainian brands who opened up new fantastic opportunity for our brides. Many of our dresses, veils as well as jewelry can be customized to satisfy needs and vision of our brides. In other words, bride get to participate in designing of her own gown, accessories, and jewelry pieces. This is pretty incredible! Every bride get to be her own designer and fulfill her wedding dream!

Currently, we are planning number of interactive events as well as runway shows to make sure our brides have a full experience and explore all the options.

Running a wedding business can be challenging at times, but seeing brides being in love not only with the groom but also with a dress makes it so worth it!

Let us help you find your “One-of-a-kind dress for once in a lifetime event!”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opportunity always comes to every person. Whether you take the chance or you let it pass you, it’s up to you! I got an opportunity, and I took a chance 😉 When you get invested financially and emotionally into something you don’t see difficulties as a struggle, you accept it as a challenge, and you find a way to turn this challenge into positive experience.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business.

We believe in comprehensive approach to any business, Currently, we are putting in place promotional events, workshops with wedding industry professionals as well as runway shows to provide our clients with a multi-level experience while getting ready for a big day.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I always dream BIG! I am planning to open up boutiques in multiple states to provide many brides with fabulous opportunity to participate in custom Wedding gown experience. My team and I are looking forward to put together Vendor shows where wedding industry professionals can work in a tight collaboration in order to make preparation for a wedding day joyful and memorable. And, of course, having experience with runway shows, I will be putting together large productions for brides to see dresses in motion on stage. I am blessed to be surrounded by very talented and driven people, so if anything… the list of our plans will only get longer. As far as I can see it, anything is possible when you put your mind to it!

One of my favorite quote by Vincent Peale became my motto and the vision I implement into my life on everyday basis “Shoot for the moon ! Even if you miss you will land among stars!”
