Community Highlights: Meet Krystina Stefani of Krystina Lynn Wedding and Event Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystina Stefani.

Hi Krystina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
At a young age, I worked behind the screens of the event industry where I learned all the little details that make an event special. After many years of working for several different businesses, I soon learned that not only did I have a talent for planning but a passion. This passion for planning and design grew stronger with every successful event I was involved with. In 2012, I decided to follow my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and start Krystina Lynn Wedding & Event Design.

Throughout my journey as a wedding planner, there have been many ups and downs. What got me where I am today is never giving up. Every time I hit a bump in the road, I got back up brushed myself off, and kept going. For me, failure was not an option. I knew during all the struggles that I was going to be a great wedding planner and every successful wedding I had reminded me of that. That is what kept me going. Even through the pandemic, I told myself I was not going to let my hard work be for nothing.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I would be lying if I said it, was an easy journey. I started my business when I was twenty-two years old. Even though I had worked in the event industry for many years it was hard building my own portfolio of weddings and events. There were many hurdles I had to overcome. One hurdle was my age. A lot of my clients were older than me and I had to establish a sense of maturity right away. Having clients trust me not only as a planner, but a business owner was tough. In most weddings and events for much less of a value than I would normally charge to gain more clientele,

While working in the industry I learned that success does not happen overnight and you are still required to take care of personal and business expenses at the same time. In January of 2017, I decided it was time to go full-time. If I didn’t do it then I knew I would never do it. It wasn’t easy and for two years I worked any side job I could to keep my dream going. There were many days where I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay a bill or put gas in my car. I want anyone out there starting a business to know that my success came with a lot of lows and highs. It is important to remember that during the lows will come high points. You just have to get back up on your feet and get going. It wasn’t easy to get where I am today, but I wouldn’t change my journey. It made me who I am as a business owner today.

We’ve been impressed with Krystina Lynn Wedding and Event Design, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I create dream weddings or events! I have always been passionate about event planning. I love being able to take a blank canvas and create a dream wedding or event. Whether I am planning the whole wedding or come in the month before to help finalize and execute their day, the number one priority for me is that they are stress-free and enjoy the day. The reaction when seeing their reception for the first time is what makes all the long hours of planning worth it.

What are your plans for the future?
There are a lot of plans for Krystina Lynn Wedding and Event design in the future. One of the biggest changes this year is our new office. It is currently being renovated and expected to be complete in a few months. This new office space is going to help the company to expand our team, but to also be more creative. I can’t wait to start creating more weddings and events in this space.

  • Full planning starts at $6,000
  • Month of planning starts at $2,200
