Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Let’s start with the beginning of my journey into the photographer world, around the age of 14! When my nana gave me my first camera, and I was instantly captivated. I started photographing everything, even pictures in magazines. What truly revealed my talent was a Christmas surprise: my nana had printed and framed my photos. At first, I thought I was just receiving frames, but when she told me they contained my own images, I was overwhelmed with amazement, realizing my photos looked as professional as those in magazines!! Since then, I dove into the world of photography, embracing the truth in the saying, “The first 10,000 photos are the worst.” By 17, I started an apprenticeship with a wonderful mentor who believed in me and took a chance on my potential. Her guidance paved the way for a new chapter in my life. After gaining valuable experience, Gail recognized my passion and sponsored me in an art show. She helped me curate striking photos, encouraged me to consider my own business and studio, and inspired me in countless ways. At the art show, I sold two pieces, and from that moment, photography became a defining part of my life. Photography has always been my passion. It’s a passion l’ve been doing since a very young age, and l’ve always been fascinated by trying to instill an image in a natural way. It’s one of the reasons I’ve started photography, to add my unique perspective and creative vision capturing life through my lens. Being able to share beauty in all details and experience magical moments captured from within. Allowing others to see the shine they can produce!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Indeed, there were moments of profound doubt on my journey, and I stepped away from photography for a few years. During that time, I put my camera aside and lost touch with the creative outlet it provided, partly due to the challenges at home and feeling disheartened by the ugly words of others! However, I eventually experienced a personal awakening. I came to realize that photography was not just a passion but my true calling and I could not loose another opportunity! I couldn’t stand to loose stilled memories!

To stay uplifted and rekindle my passion, I focused on reconnecting with the aspects of photography that first inspired me. Capturing emotions and expressions, A way to share and instill memories, The awareness and appreciation for all small things or details. And so I began, I surrounded myself with supportive people who believed in my potential and sought inspiration from new experiences and perspectives. By embracing these positive changes and committing to small, consistent efforts, I reignited my love for photography and found renewed purpose in pursuing my dreams.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a natural light photographer, that travels around both mittens. I would say I specialize in a wide variety of photography services, as there is beauty in all sessions. But for specifics it would be Spiritual Branding/Lifestyle, Content Creation, Product/Corporate, Family and Love Stories. A new fun fact: I will be adding Videography as a package, I finally was able to add to my business with a new film camera!

While we are all on a unique journey and have reasons for being behind the lens, we all have talents that are worth sharing! What sets me apart from others in the field is my commitment and creative expression, dedicated to you throughout your entire journey, capturing moments that will last a lifetime, but will also represent who you are! I’m about the whole experience, it’s not just freezing the moment, it’s about connecting and experiencing your journey together! Plus I don’t limit photos on galleries delivered, if it’s beautiful and up to LLS standards you’re receiving it!
The thing I’m most proud of is never giving up on my dream!
