Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalonne Corp.
Hi Jalonne, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for photography started long before I ever owned a camera. Growing up, my grandparents were always documenting life’s moments, and those memories sparked something in me. In elementary school, Mr. Stephen Smith inspired my passion for art and creativity, and as a freshman in high school, my business teacher Veezy (Jevon Lipsey) gave me my first opportunity by trusting me with my very first model shoot (McCayla Blaylock). Since then, I’ve continued to grow, turning my passion into JCorp Photography and capturing moments that last a lifetime.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. I’ve had people scam me, I’ve had people love their work and then need money so they try and get refunds and criticize me. It’s gone as far as people disliking me because someone booked me over them. It can be a lot depending on each situation but I maintain it pretty well by staying strong and remembering you not popping if they not hating!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about JCorp Photography?
JCorp Photography is a photography business based on making professional photography accessible to everyone. I specialize in portraits, families, graduations, weddings, events, and lifestyle sessions. What sets my business apart is that I believe everyone deserves high-quality photos, no matter their budget. Growing up, family pictures meant a lot to me, but I’ve watched fewer families get them done because of rising prices or bad experiences with photographers. That inspired me to offer quality work at prices that people can actually afford. I’m most proud of building a business that continues to grow through trust, word of mouth, and genuine relationships with my clients. That passion has also pushed me to host my own community pop-up shop, creating opportunities for other small businesses while bringing people together. As my brand grows, my goal is to keep making photography feel welcoming, affordable, and meaningful for everyone.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always curious and wanted to understand how things worked. I loved being hands on, asking questions, and trying new things. Creativity came naturally to me, whether it was through art, technology, or finding new ways to express myself. My family always encouraged that curiosity, and over time it grew into a passion for photography.
