Hannah , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our story really started in 2020, right at the beginning of the lockdowns. We saw so many restaurants and small businesses struggling to reach their customers. Not because their food or service wasn’t good, but because their marketing just wasn’t keeping up with the times.
At first, the idea was simple: help restaurants get online, reach their audience, and keep their doors open. Hannah and I started small, creating content and running campaigns. No investors, no fancy connections, just a lot of faith, late nights, and a vision.
Over time, what began as just helping restaurants turned into something much bigger. We realized that content creation, branding, digital ads, and strategy could completely change the trajectory of a business if done right. That’s when NeuEra Media was born.
Today, we’re proud to serve businesses all over Michigan and the Midwest, from restaurants and e-commerce to health and wellness, real estate, and beyond. Our mission has always been the same: to make our clients undeniable online.
It hasn’t been easy. There have been ups and downs, mistakes, lessons, and plenty of long nights, but those experiences have shaped who we are as a company. We’ve grown a team of creators who believe in the same mission, and together we’re building something much bigger than just an agency.
Looking back, it’s really been about three things: faith, resilience, and relentless growth. That’s what got us here, and that’s what keeps us moving forward.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road, but a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. Starting a business in 2020 meant we were building in the middle of a storm. At the time, both of us were working full-time corporate jobs and running NeuEra as a side hustle. Eventually, we had to make the scary but necessary decision to quit and go all-in. Risky? Absolutely. But if we wanted real growth, it was the only way forward.
Some of the biggest struggles came down to wearing every hat; creating content, running ads, handling clients, invoicing, and even being photographers and videographers with little to no experience. On top of that, we faced skepticism. Some people doubted us, some even close to us, and we had to push through that.
There were also the typical entrepreneurial struggles: cash flow, long nights, and the pressure of balancing being business partners, life partners, and new parents all at once.
But every challenge forced us to level up. When something didn’t work, we learned. When we hit a wall, we found a way over it. And I think that’s what’s shaped NeuEra, not perfection, but resilience. Our road has been tough, but it’s made us stronger leaders, sharper marketers, and more committed to helping others win.”

NeuEra Media is a full-service digital marketing agency. We started with a simple mission to make great businesses undeniable online. We work with restaurants, retail, service-based businesses, and more across Michigan and the Midwest.

What we love most about Michigan — and Grand Rapids in particular is the entrepreneurial spirit and the sense of community. There’s a unique mix here: small towns with deep roots and bigger cities that are constantly evolving. That combination creates space for businesses like ours to not just exist, but to truly grow and connect with people in meaningful ways.
What we like least is that sometimes the Midwest can be a little behind the curve when it comes to digital innovation and marketing trends. Bigger markets on the coasts tend to adopt new strategies faster, and it can feel like we’re playing catch-up here. But we actually see that as an opportunity, it pushes us to bring fresh ideas, cutting-edge strategies, and proven systems to local businesses so they don’t just keep up, they stand out.
