Today we’d like to introduce you to Ethan Heinrich.

Hi Ethan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Giovanni and I were in a situation where we had a poor work environment mixed with a lacking work/life balance. A particularly bad week pushed us to venture off on our own despite our lack of knowledge of running a business in the trades. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We’ve been through a few periods where work has been hard to come by. We take those times to reflect on what we’ve done well and what we could do better. We always come up with a plan and move forward from there. 

As you know, we’re big fans of G&E Painting. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
We are known for our top-notch customer experience and the value we add to our clients’ projects. We take the time to educate our clients on the correct way to complete the project, why we do it that way, and what happens if the task is done incorrectly or the wrong products are used. We are currently running a 10% discount on all fall projects (Nov 2023-Jan 2024) and have a drawing for a $200 Amazon gift card for all customers that leave a review on Google. 

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Work/life balance and loving your job are important to avoid burnout
