I started C&C Cleaning Company here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2022 as a single mom of two children who was searching for my purpose in life. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to start my own cleaning business something built not just on income, but on meaning. With a strong eye for detail and a true passion for cleaning and organizing, starting a cleaning company quickly became my calling. I wanted to create a business that truly helps people in our community those who need an extra hand keeping their homes or businesses clean, comfortable, and stress-free. From the very beginning, my goal was simple, provide quality work and build a company that people could trust and rely on.
Now, after three years in business, I am incredibly proud that C&C Cleaning Company has served many customers throughout Grand Rapids and the surrounding communities. Every home and business we clean is treated with care, respect, and attention to detail. I understand that inviting someone into your space is personal, and I never take that responsibility lightly. At C&C Cleaning Company, we believe a clean space brings peace of mind. Whether it’s a busy family home, a small business, or a one-time deep clean, my team and I are committed to delivering dependable, consistent, and high-quality service every single time. This company is built on integrity, hard work, and a genuine desire to help others. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting C&C Cleaning Company as a single mom of two came with its share of challenges. Even today, I still wear every hat in my business. I’m the owner, cleaner, scheduler, marketer, customer service representative, and everything in between. One of my biggest struggles has been finding a balance between growing my business and making time to enjoy life with my kids. As a business owner, it’s easy to let work take over, but I also want to be present for my children and set an example of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. I want them to see that with dedication and faith; you can build something you’re proud of. There have been slow seasons, financial challenges, and plenty of long days and late nights. There were moments when I questioned myself, but I never gave up because I believed in what I was building. Every challenge has made me stronger, and I’m proud of how far C&C Cleaning Company has come. I’m excited to continue growing while creating a life that my children can be proud of.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
One thing that might surprise people is that I never planned on becoming a business owner. As a single mom, I knew I was limited when it came to childcare and having a support system. I realized that building my own business would give me the flexibility to create a better life for myself and my babies while still being there for them. Starting C&C Cleaning Company wasn’t just about making a living it was about creating opportunities that a traditional job couldn’t always provide. It gave me the chance to build something of my own, set an example for my children, and show them that with faith, hard work, and determination, you can overcome life’s challenges. Most people see the finished work, but they don’t always see the sacrifices, long days, and perseverance behind it. Everything I do is driven by my love for my children and my desire to build a life they can be proud of.
