Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Sartin.
Hi Tracy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Once I decided to leave the military I begin to think about things that I wanted to do that I didn’t get a chance to. Acting came to the forefront of my mind. I started watching acting classes on YouTube before actually getting into a class. I originally set out for it be a hobby but once I took my first class the fire was set. I just knew it’s what I needed and wanted to do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but I’m here for the journey. Not being from the places that I audition for. To keep going after every NO.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Actress, PA, Wardrobe assistant
I’m known for PA as well as acting
I’m most proud of myself
What sets me apart is my work ethic, attention to details, my grind, resilience, and compassion
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I don’t have any advice for finding a mentor because I’m still trying to find one myself. As for as networking goes you have to show up. Put yourself in places where connections can happen. The more you show up the more people remember you. Just be yourself and walk in like you belong there because you do.
