Today we’d like to introduce you to Teemaree.
Hi Teemaree, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m an artist, coach, and healer who has spent much of my life learning how to take up space again.
My work was born from a very personal journey of learning how to reclaim the parts of myself that life, responsibility, loss, and expectations sometimes made me quiet. I know what it feels like to have dreams while trying to take care of everyone else. And I’ve learned that fully becoming yourself isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a practice.
Art was my first language. As a child, I dreamed of being onstage, and that dream eventually became a professional life as a model, actor, dancer, DJ, and host. Even when life took me in other directions, creativity was always the thread that brought me back to myself.
Healing myself emotionally was a constant focus throughout the years, and then circumstances caused me to take note of physical healing too. After experiencing the loss of people I loved to causes that I believe could have been prevented or approached differently, I became deeply curious about the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. I began testing holistic wellness, not simply as a way to feel better, but as a way to live more consciously and completely.
Coaching became the place where those two worlds came together.
Today, I help creatives and caregivers reconnect with their own voice, desires, creativity, confidence, and possibility. I developed my coaching method from the very process I had to learn for myself: how to keep listening inward, stop shrinking, and take creative action toward the life you actually want.
And I’m still living it.
You might find me coaching someone through a major life transition one day and stepping onto a stage or screen the next. I don’t see those identities as separate. To me, they are all expressions of the same calling.
What drives my work is knowing that there is usually so much more in us than we’ve allowed ourselves to express. I’m here to support the people who are ready to live fully again.
I hope to help people remember how to do so with practical, creative ways to discover, express, and reclaim themselves.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, and know that’s part of what has made the work meaningful.
There were seasons when I felt cast out, misunderstood, talked down to, or simply alone. People can be quick to make fun of or dismiss what they don’t understand, and I experienced that firsthand when I began questioning the way I was living and searching for deeper healing. What eventually became my coaching practice actually began with me asking difficult questions of myself and being willing to change.
That same thing happened with my approach to wellness. Healing became less about finding one perfect answer and more about changing my daily habits, creating new patterns, and taking responsibility for my mind, body, and spirit. Not everyone around me understood those choices, and sometimes they challenged them. But eventually, as they saw the results, it helped change things outside of myself too, and that benefited everyone around me at those times.
And then there was artistry.
Being an artist requires an incredible amount of vulnerability. You have to stay open, expressive, hopeful, and willing to put yourself out there, while knowing that many people may never see the years of work, rejection, discipline, and courage behind what you’re creating.
There were definitely moments when it felt hard and lonely.
But those experiences taught me resilience. They taught me that I don’t need everyone to understand what I’m doing for it to be meaningful. I just need to stay connected to why I’m doing it and keep going.
And ultimately, every difficult chapter brought me closer to the same thing: feeling fully expressed and finding tested ways to help others express themselves through different stages of life too.
That, for me, continues to be worth the risk.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work has always lived at the intersection of creativity, personal growth, and expression.
Over the years, I’ve worked professionally as an actor, model, DJ, dancer, and host across television, print, and film. I still love being part of entertainment projects because there is something incredibly powerful about creating an experience that makes people feel something.
That same belief is at the heart of my coaching practice.
I use creativity, movement, reflection, and practical tools to help people experience personal growth in a way that feels engaging rather than overwhelming. I don’t believe transformation has to be heavy, complicated, or something we dread our way through. I believe growth can actually be fun, and when it is, we’re much more likely to make it part of our lives.
What sets me apart is that I’ve never been particularly interested in staying inside one box. I’ve followed the different threads of who I am and allowed them to inform one another. In a world that pressures us to niche down and pick a lane, I practice full expression of self and help others do the same.
That philosophy became the foundation for my Transformation Through Joy Method, or TTJ Method: a creative approach to personal growth centered on the idea that meaningful change can happen through simple, joyful actions that create lasting impact.
Whether I’m on a set, on a stage, or coaching someone through a major life transition, the goal is ultimately the same: to help people feel free to be.
