Today we’d like to introduce you to Sage Castleberry
Hi Sage, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My musical journey began at a young age, being raised in a musical family. I first started learning guitar at the age of 8 but didn’t see myself playing anywhere but my home. It wasn’t until after high school that I felt God placed on my heart that I should start to pursue music on my own. That’s when I embraced my musical passion and embarked on my music career, releasing my first songs in 2022. I am very thankful for the path I have been on so far and am excited for the future!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been pretty smooth so far I would say. I have been blessed to have a great band to play with me along with friends, family and fans that support me along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m passionate about writing and recording my own original music. It’s what I believe I excel at. My primary songwriting genre is pop or country music. This is what feels most natural to me when crafting a song. One of my greatest achievements is surpassing 450,000 streams on Spotify. I believe my unique writing and production style, which my producer and I work together on, sets me apart in the music industry. It’s a perfect blend of pop and country elements.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
To me, the most important quality or characteristic for success is authenticity. As a musician, I’ve always made it a point to write songs that resonate with me and to always be my true self when performing or interacting with others. Genuineness is especially important to me in the music industry, as it’s what sets me apart and defines me as an artist.
