Check Out Rhani Chardae Hight’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhani Chardae Hight.

Hi Rhani Chardae, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. I began modeling at 16 with 616 Model Management, where I gained experience through runway shows and photoshoots that helped shape my confidence and passion for fashion. A major milestone in my journey was walking in London Fashion Week, which expanded my perspective on creativity and opportunity.

While I still model, I’ve recently shifted more of my focus toward visual art, creating work centered around Black womanhood, femininity, and fashion. As an entrepreneur and artist, I love being able to combine both worlds to tell meaningful stories through my creativity.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every journey comes with challenges, both internal and external, and stepping into the world as both an artist and model required me to overcome a lot of vulnerability and self-doubt. For a long time, I created art privately, keeping my work hidden in my bedroom rather than sharing it with the world. Modeling became the outlet that helped me build confidence and encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone. It taught me how to embrace visibility and trust in my creativity. Taking that leap allowed me to expand my platform, explore new creative outlets, and connect with a community of individuals who share the same passion for self-expression and artistry.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I often describe myself as a “Jack of All Trades” within the creative industry because I wear many hats — model, photographer, fashion stylist, creative director, and visual artist. Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember, and each creative discipline I’ve explored has strengthened the others. Being multidimensional allows me to approach my work with a deeper understanding of storytelling, composition, fashion, and identity from every angle.

What sets me apart is my ability to create immersive visual worlds where Black women are centered, celebrated, and adorned without limitation. Through acrylic painting and the use of sustainable materials, I bridge the gap between reality and aspiration, creating work that feels both deeply personal and visionary.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out in the creative field is to simply start. There will never be a perfect moment where you feel fully prepared to put yourself out there, and growth often comes through trial and error. Every creative journey comes with learning curves, but every successful artist, model, or entrepreneur once started from the exact same place — taking a chance without knowing the outcome.
I’ve learned that the worst thing someone can tell you is “no,” and even that becomes a lesson rather than a failure. Continue creating, continue learning, and allow yourself the freedom to evolve along the way. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask for help. The people who truly believe in your vision will be willing to support you, pour into you, and help you grow.
