Today we’d like to introduce you to Ray. 

Ray, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born as a weekly zoom party during the pandemic in 2020, my mission evolved into a web-based radio station offering clean R&B and least a little of other genres (hip-hop, pop, country, jazz, reggae, etc.). 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been some struggles. Number one cost. Two years into operations and expenses still outweigh revenues by approx. 90%. Number two, marketing. Getting the word out there and attracting a large audience of regular listeners is still a challenge. There were also some technical struggles, but I’ve managed to resolve almost all of them. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I run a free web-based radio station, and I’m also a DJ specializing in clean R&B and hip-hop music. I’m most proud of creating something that others have shown appreciation for, in an area where I have a lot of passion: music. What sets me apart – I only personally know 2 other people doing what I’m doing. One helped inspire me, I inspired the other. Everyone else is on Zoom, Twitch, or some other livestream.
