Check Out Rachele Rose’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachele Rose.

Hi Rachele, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My healing journey began in my early thirties with chronic pain that traditional medicine couldn’t explain. Seeking relief, I stepped into a community yoga studio in 2015 and began practicing yoga with Melissa Weber. What started as a way to manage stress quickly became something much deeper—yoga taught me how to move mindfully, breathe intentionally, and listen to the messages my body had been holding onto for years.

As I explored healing, I received Reiki and energy work that profoundly shifted how I felt—physically, emotionally, and energetically. The impact was so transformative that I felt called to study it myself. In 2018, I became certified as a Reiki Master and Pranic Healing Practitioner. That same year, I founded Rose Gold Energy, a heart-centered space for holistic healing rooted in equity and inclusion, especially for those in underrepresented communities who often feel left out of traditional wellness spaces.

I’ve always been a lifelong learner, drawn to modalities that create deeper connection and healing. In 2021, I deepened my yoga practice by enrolling in the Namaste Yoga Teacher Training Program in Royal Oak, MI, under the guidance of Melissa Weber and Ken Aubuchon. I earned my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification there and have since completed additional training in Yoga for Everyone®, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Somatic Movement, and Restorative Yoga.

As a body-positive teacher, I believe yoga should be accessible to all bodies, with inclusion at its core. My classes blend together mindfulness, breath work, and gentle movement to support emotional balance, self awareness, and healing. I love learning and sharing tools that help others feel more empowered, safe, and supported in their bodies.

I also founded Rose Gold Design in 2018, where I creatively collaborate with nonprofits and wellness brands on digital, print, and web design. Everything I do is rooted in love, integrity, and the belief that healing and wellness are for everyone.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been layered—sometimes heavy, sometimes healing—and I’d say it continues to ebb and flow, especially when it comes to my own health and well-being. As a healing practitioner, I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that we need to prioritize ourselves too. There were times I found myself putting others first, pouring from an empty cup, and not taking my own advice. I had to learn the importance of boundaries, rest, and receiving support—just as much as I give it.

There were also shifts in my personal relationships. Some people I was once close with drifted away as I began choosing myself, living with more integrity, and prioritizing self-care. That was hard at times, but also necessary. I believe when we commit to healing and growth, not everything or everyone can come with us—and that’s okay.

I wouldn’t change any of it. Life is a journey, and every step—every challenge, every lesson—has taught me something valuable. It’s made me more grounded, more compassionate, and more committed to creating spaces where others feel safe to show up as their whole selves, too.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My intention is to offer a space where everyone is celebrated for who they are. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to support others on their healing and wellness journeys.

I specialize in yoga for everyone, energy healing, and meditation. I teach Gentle Restorative Hatha and Mind Body Balance yoga at Namaste Yoga in Royal Oak, and I also offer a free community yoga class in the park during the summer. I provide Reiki and Pranic Healing sessions at Namaste, and I host a monthly Healing Circle + Meditation online, which has been a true gift to offer.

I believe what sets me apart is that I’m just human, figuring it out as I go, and I meet people where they are. I listen to their stories and help them reconnect with themselves. My goal is to empower others, whether through yoga, energy healing, or meditation, to recognize they already have the tools to care for themselves. I’m here to walk with them on that journey, always offering support.

I’m most proud of the clients who have learned to take ownership of their well-being, whether through their breath, body, or energy. Witnessing their growth and the trust they’ve built in themselves fills me with gratitude and joy. I’m deeply grateful that I can play a role in empowering others to reclaim their wellness and step into their own power.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to mentor aspiring yoga teachers and energy healers, and my advice to them (and anyone starting out on their own journey) is to first and foremost, allow yourself to be imperfect and give yourself grace. I’ve truly appreciated the grace others have shown me when I’ve been honest and vulnerable with them. I trust that I’m in the right place at the right time, helping the right people, and they extend that same grace to me.

Another key piece of advice is to start simple. If you’re like me, you might feel the urge to know everything right away, but remember, starting with the basics is the best way to build a strong foundation. Once you’ve got the fundamentals down, then you can begin to layer in more. Trying to rush ahead too quickly can often make things feel more overwhelming than they need to be.

And most importantly, know that there is space for you. No matter who you are or what you want to do, there is room for your voice and your gifts! Even if it seems like there are a lot of others doing similar work, trust that your unique perspective and energy is what the world needs. Step into your power and claim your place.
