Today we’d like to introduce you to Mekaelia Witherspoon

Hi Mekaelia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As kid coming up with parents who worked in the entertainment business I naturally loved the art of music, beauty and fashion.. I learned how to cook, about opera and high end fashion through my grandmother.. She always had these catalogs from places like Neiman Marcus, Sax Fifth Avenue and others she’d buy from.. That’s how I learned about diamonds, pearls, Italian leather shoes, sunglasses, hair and makeup.. Long story short I remember falling in love with music, food, beauty and fashion as a kid. I made my very first recording studio song at age 9 with my dad in his studio called “I got feelings”.. A song about a girl next door who had a crush on the neighborhood boy basically confessing her feelings.. It was a bop for sure lol. I would watch my mother write music and my dad make music.. I don’t remember a year that I didn’t take choir at school or at church.. In my teens for work I would do hair and my dad would from time to time let one of his clients hire me for studio music background recording for their projects.. At 17 I got to join my parents band, that helped me get my chops wet and keep some money in my pockets at the same time. I’ve always been a food lover especially growing up around my grandma I loved her cooking. We watched plenty of Oprah and cooking shows, she made sure I picked up a few things. 2017 I birthed my business baby “Extreme Versatility” a beauty, fashion accessories and wellness brand. About 2021 I decided step out on faith and really began showcasing the things I’m most truly passionate about, my music, Extreme Versatility and delicious cuisine

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not lol. No the journey I don’t think is ever easy however it builds good character you know “It’s the climb” (Miley Cyrus) voice.. I’ve had to sleep in my car.. I’ve had it lost it all and got it back.. Literally ass out just me and God…

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an music artist and a online personality\content creator. I specialize in music, food, lifestyle tips & hacks, fashion, and hot topics.. I also known for my brand “Extreme Versatility Accessories”

I’m probably most proud of some of the people I’ve been able to reach absolutely still growing but very grateful

I think my style and personality is what sets me apart from others I take great pride in it.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have had a few people along my journey so far that I’d like to thank. Definitely my grandparents they were very supportive my grandmother was my biggest fan she inspired me very much. My parents because they taught me the fundamentals of music and fearlessness
