Check Out Jennifer Luckett’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Luckett. 

Hi Jennifer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I’ve had a love for all things beauty since I was a young child. I first wanted to be a fashion designer, but things didn’t pan out with me going to design school. I settled on going to Wayne State University. After coming home from college, there were a few girls who asked me to do their makeup. I was decent but by no means was a makeup artist; however, I decided to give it a go. I’m glad I took that leap! The industry is still growing, and so am I! I am also a mother of a very smart 3-year-old boy 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road for me. I’ve struggled with believing in my talent and abilities, but I’m getting stronger every day 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am makeup artist and recently got my esthetician license specializing in waxing
