Check Out Jenna Gritter’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Gritter

Hi Jenna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up, I have been surrounded by real estate. My mother was in property management since she was 17 years old, having me at 18, so I really learned how some aspects of the industry worked. It definitely spiked my interest and didn’t stop there. I began to go to seminars, shadowing other agents, and diving into what goes into being a realtor. When I was 18, I joined Real Estate One as a client service representative, helping other agents find new clients. I started to grow a strong love for the relationships I began to build in this industry. I wanted more and knew I could do it. After years of soaking in so much valuable information and growing a true love for the industry, it was time for me to take on my own career in real estate. In September of 2023, I got my license and go to work! Quickly started marketing myself, making cheesy reels, sending out funny videos and emails to my sphere. I showed everyone who I was and let them see the fun and love I have for what I do. Only 1 month in, I got 2 listings. 2 months after that, I got 2 more. In March of 2024, I sold 1.8 million in sales. In less than a year, I turned what I loved into a career. That is the most fulfilling thing I have ever felt.
I like to say, We Gritter Done, making a play on my last name. But my husband quickly told me that is not as funny as I think it is. Gotta love him!
All in all, I am always thankful for every opportunity, referral, and client that has made my dreams come true. I can’t wait to see what more is in store for my future in real estate.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, real estate felt so natural for me. I like to make fun and say the kids who use to have “talks too much” on their report cards are now all realtors. Because that’s me! Talking always got me in trouble, until I realized I could use it for my benefit.

The connections I have made with my sphere of influence, along with my community are the reason this journey has been so smooth.

Though everything isn’t perfect and it doesn’t always go as planned, I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything has led me to where I am today and for that, I am thankful.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Michigan Realtor who specializes in and loves to work with first time home buyers! We all have had our first time, in the real estate industry of course, and it can be scary. There is so many different types and inspections, contingencies and loans… the list goes on!

When having a valuable, personable realtor walk us through the home buying process, I realized just how important an agent is in your home buying experience. That is who I wanted to be.

If you asked any of my friends, family, or clients, they would most likely say that I try to make everyone feel comfortable, no matter what is going on, who we are with or where ever we are. I personally have the biggest FOMO ever if I am the outsider. I always want to be included. That feeling has made me make sure everyone else doesn’t have to feel that way. I will make you laugh and joke, but also make sure you’re heard and taken care of. Not one person is incapable of being my friend and I stand by that.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The biggest support I could ask for is just referrals! Reposting my cheesy reels on social medias, giving someone my business card, or just mentioning my name in conversation goes so far for me and my business. It does not go without notice either. I am so thankful for every single person who supports me, even in the littlest ways.

I love working and talking with others truly and the best way of reaching interested ones has been through my social media; specifically Instagram. I have always loved making videos, or cute artsy flyers. I was the art kid in school, always in the art shows and making random movies with my friends… so being able to tie that passion of mine into my career has made my heart so happy.
