Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Carroll.
Hi Jeffrey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a second generation plumber. My father worked for Mish-con gas company. Back in the 70s and that is pretty much how he got his start in the trade after that he worked for a few plumbing contractors and drain cleaning companies prior to him going out on his own in the mid 90s. I worked for him for about 17 years until going out on my own a few years back I am a local community service orientated plumber taking care of water heaters faucet and fixture replacements and adding in every type of remodel prior to going out of my own the only plumbing I did was on multimillion dollar custom homes roughing in new installations and finishes on those homes. I love my job. I love being a community plumber.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the biggest or one of the biggest struggles along the way was balancing work and home life as a single father things had gotten out of hand between alcohol and me. I am proudly four years sober and that is a huge part of me reclaiming myself and my fourth Rite mission to be a great father plumber friend and now fiancé I will never go back to those days no matter what
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a plumber. I specialize in service plumbing/problem-solving with any and every plumbing new or old retrofit. I am absolutely known for being forthright, honest and overall very fair when it comes to pricing. I am proud of running my own business and taking care of my own customers and clients homes and businesses. I am local fair and honest that’s what sets me apart from all these other companies.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
There really won’t be any changes or shifts, except for the demand of having more service men and women alike in the field
