Dejaa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Dejaa Hartman, CEO & Founder of One of One Garden.
What started as a simple way of pouring love into the women in my life, giving them their flowers while they could still smell them quickly grew into something so much bigger. As time went on, so did the vision, turning my passion into a purpose-driven business.
Once it started, it never stopped. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This October marks 2 years of One of One Garden, and I’m beyond grateful for every blessing, every lesson, and everyone who has supported me along the way .
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Business has been a smooth journey for me, even with the obstacles, because it’s something I genuinely love to do.
Every bump along the way comes with a lesson, and those lessons continue to shape and grow One of One Garden every single day. I’m grateful for the journey, the growth, and everything that’s helping build this brand into something truly special .

I’m a florist in the Metro Detroit area, specializing in making flowers speak volumes .
