Hi Tray, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hey hello my name is Trey. I’ll go by pooh that’s my nickname. I was given to me during birth. I’m a LA resident but lifestyle is in Detroit. I got here when I was 11 due to life situations and hard struggle life situations. My mother wanted a new life in Detroit was the best option for her during her options. She chose to stay well mainly close to our family when we moved to Detroit and from there, I became a Detroit native and I met some awesome friends during my journey. I went to East Tr3y high school where I met my friends that actually acclimating me to become a rapper my friend nappy Devi was the one that encouraged me to keep my music going in to keep my music in my back pocket. I formally am an artist, but I love the way that music transcend into my aura and also my everyday life where I can just pull out my notepad and jot down rhymes and keep my day going and just come back to it and perform my best in the booth. The reason why I love music is because it got me to where I can feel like I can express myself to the higher notes without any delay without any pauses, just hop on the track and go! some music is my fountain the youth where I can ascend my talent
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth ride. It has not been a smooth life for anyone I can say that honestly, the truth because everything is a life learning lesson the only struggle that I had is fun that that door is not opening up for me and at this moment, I just wanna break the hinges and open it up myself the struggles I have with that is making sure that I’m true to myself and that where I need to be is the best spot I need to be at know if our butts what I say to myself is you’re better self can be greater but your great self can be the true legend
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As of right now, I’m a tattoo, professional artist I do music I’m known for my tattoo professional art because I did art for my whole entire life. I graduated from East Detroit, but attended DSA to upsell my artist ways, but me becoming a tattoo artist I asked God himself to give me 10 sign and he did so I want to thank him for giving me the sign that I’m willing to occur and also see in a path of my journey because I always ask him before I do anything else that is just the right thing for me so me being blessed with the art that I have is never a obstacle that I can’t occur that I can’t. Do. I let my mind my thoughts and my passion take over and I can create beauty.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Only notes I have for others and stay true to yourself. It’s a new year every year and everyone wanna see new things so if you can bring that bring it it’s fresh it’s organic and people can relate.
