Hi Christian, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Align Digital started back in 2018. Owner, Christian, developed a love for media production through his high school Digital Media class and went on to pursue further education at Central Michigan University.

During college, he launched Christian Kurt Multimedia and began taking on clients, creating a variety of media for local businesses. Since then, he has grown his business to include a multitude of services and has continued to fine tune his craft. In 2024 the business underwent a rebrand and became Align Digital. As the business has grown, so has the team. Today, Align Digital specializes in Videography, Photography, and Drone media capture.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Align Digital Film and Photo has grown through change and challenge—especially during the COVID era, when the media landscape was shifting faster than ever. In that time, the company learned to adapt and innovate, finding new ways to tell meaningful stories and connect people through powerful visuals. What began as a small creative venture has become a driving force for accessible, high-quality media in a community that once lacked it. Today, Align Digital continues to bridge that gap—capturing the stories, businesses, and moments that make Central Michigan thrive.

Align Digital Film and Photo is known for crafting compelling visuals that bring stories to life. From powerful videos that showcase the heart behind local businesses and individuals, to cinematic representations of homes in the real estate market, every project is approached with creativity and care. The team captures life’s most meaningful moments—weddings, family milestones, and newborn beginnings—with authenticity and artistry. Beyond personal storytelling, Align Digital also partners with organizations and associations to produce media that attracts new business, talent, and opportunity to the region—helping communities grow through the power of visual storytelling.

What’s most rewarding for Align Digital Film and Photo isn’t just the finished product—it’s the reaction that comes with it. Seeing the look on a client’s face when their story comes to life is what makes every late night and long shoot worthwhile. We have the privilege of working with passionate people who deeply care about what they do, and it’s an honor to capture that dedication on film.
