Hi Cassondra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I worked on Mackinac Island seasonally for 9 years and traveled the world during the off season. In January 2016, I started writing a travel blog and sharing my adventures on social media. My channels have continued to grow every day since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In the beginning to it was tricky to find my niche and align with a true message to share with my followers. Some other struggles along the journey have been, others borrowing ideas and creators copying videos. It’s important to be a true creative in this industry, coming up with new ideas and not just recycling what is already out there being shared.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Michigan Travel Influencer and content creator. I make content that shows off Michigan’s best kept secrets and what truly makes this state unique. I am most proud of how many people I reach with my content and the amazing businesses I have been able to work with. I think what sets me apart from other creators is my authenticity. People like my vibe because it’s genuine. I’m relatable and making content to help people just like me. When your heart is in it, it shows.
