Check Out Adam Ewbank’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Ewbank.

Hi Adam, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been a videographer for a little over a decade. I started off doing music videos in Nashville, TN, and branched into wedding filmmaking a few years later. In 2022 I moved back to my home state of Michigan and have been continuing to build my business in Motor City and beyond.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve been very fortunate to have a lot of great opportunities come my way throughout my journey in wedding videography. It wasn’t the easiest to branch into a new market after moving, but the Michigan wedding industry has overall welcomed me with open arms.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My focus when it comes to weddings is authenticity. From the way I stand back and let the day unfold naturally, to the way I color grade my films in a true-to-color style, my main goal is to show the wedding day in the way it happened, without over-stylizing the film. My couples tell me they love the emotion I portray in my films, whether that’s the tearful first look or the hyped-up party on the dance floor.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Get to know other people in your industry. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help and learn from people who have done it before you. I wish I had connected more with my peers when I was starting in weddings.
