Ashley Hinken of Westland on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Ashley Hinken. Check out our conversation below.

Ashley, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day start with sticking a baby bottle in the warmer and starting my coffee. I grab the baby bottle and my coffee then I feed the baby a bottle while drinking my coffee. After I have my coffee, I make breakfast for the two older kids then I read my Bible.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, my name is Ashley Hinken. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids. I also am a content creator/ influencer. I love that I can work from anywhere and document every moment. I love using my social media accounts to create coffee content, promote products and post every day moments.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe that I couldn’t do anything because I’d mess it up and not accomplish it. I now believe that I can do anything with Gods help and putting my mind to it. Anything is possible!

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
One fear that has held me back a lot in my life is failure. I’ve always been afraid to fail and I wouldn’t try things. I’ve learned that the fear of failure shouldn’t stop me from trying new things.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that my love for Jesus and my family matter to me the most.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would stop waiting until tomorrow to get things done.
