We’re looking forward to introducing you to Chasity Kleinsorge. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Chasity, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think a lot of people struggle with mental health but don’t talk about it. You never know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors, and because there’s still so much stigma around things like depression and anxiety, people often keep it to themselves. That’s why I try to show patience and kindness in every interaction, as someone who struggles everyday, you never know how much that can mean to someone. That’s also why I started a mental health broadcast on Instagram, “Take Care Of Your Mental Health”, to create a space for real conversations and remind people they are not alone.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Chasity Kleinsorge also known as Chass, founder of ChassTheModel, I started modeling in 2019, and since then I’ve grown into different lanes of the industry, from being a video vixen and Influencer to promoting events and connecting with people on and off the scene. For me, it’s never just been about photos or appearances, it’s about storytelling, confidence, and creating spaces where people feel truly seen.
What makes my journey unique is that it’s shaped by real life experiences and resilience. I’ve turned my challenges into purpose, which is why my brand and my work focus on authenticity, mental health, and helping others feel empowered in every space I step into.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that feels like I always have to be guarded. Growing up with trauma, abuse and loss, I built walls around myself mentally, emotionally, physically and even socially to survive. Those walls served a purpose back then, but as I’ve grown, I’ve realized they also keep me from fully living and connecting. Now, I’m learning to release that constant need to protect myself and instead lean into trust, healing, and openness. It’s not easy, but therapy and self work have helped me understand that I don’t have to carry survival mode into every stage of my life. That release is what allows me to step into my true power and purpose today.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
It’s been a gradual journey, but a few moments really stand out. Losing my aunt in 2015 and my grandmother this past year forced me to face grief I’d buried for years. Surviving a near fatal car accident with my brother in September, right before my grandmother passed in October, forced me to confront my own morality and the fragility of life. Surviving being shot in 2017 also reminded me how precious my voice and presence are. Those experiences showed me that hiding my pain only kept me small.
Therapy and my mental health broadcast on Instagram gave me tools to process, speak up and connect with others who feel unseen. I began challenging my struggles into my work, whether its modeling, promoting, or creating spaces where people feel safe and empowered. The walls I built to survive mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially are slowly coming down, and now I use that strength to inspire confidence in myself and others, My pain isn’t just something I carry anymore; its a lens, a drive and a platform for impact.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One truth that’s foundational for me is that mental health shapes everything. I live with Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, and Borderline Personality Disorder, which I was recently diagnosed with this year, and learning to understand and manage these conditions has been a huge part of my life. It’s not something I always talk about, but it affects how I relate to people, make decisions and pursue my goals,
Another truth is that strength and power are born from the challenges you endure. Facing grief, childhood trauma, moments where I feared for my life, and the daily realities of living with mental health conditions has taught me that pain doesn’t define you unless you let it. I’ve learned to take what once held me back and turn it into fuel for my creativity, my work and my purpose. It drives me to show up authentically, lift others through my modeling, promoting, and influence, and create spaces where people feel seen and understood. My struggles are no longer something I hide; they are the foundation or my resilience, my voice, and my power.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I’ve learned that resilience and authenticity are far more powerful than people realize. Most people see only the surface, the success, the images, the events, but they don’t see the inner work, the struggles and the moments that shape who we truly are. I understand deeply the pain, grief, and mental health challenges don’t have to define or limit you; they can become the foundation of your growth, your creativity, and your impact.
I’m also a very spiritual person, and I feel that my strong aura and energy play a big role in how I show up in the world. Life has taught me showing up authentically and supporting others through their journeys is one of the most meaningful things you can do. That’s the legacy I hope to leave; a reminder that your story, your strength, your energy and your voice matter, and that using your experiences to empower yourself and others is one of the most powerful ways to live.
