We’re looking forward to introducing you to Alex Reid. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Alex, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Meditation with drinking some water and trying to sit a quite space before the day fully starts. Then stretching out and making a small list of “things to do” with home and work.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
As a designer, I create engaging and impactful digital and social media ads, stories, and videos for various brands and platforms. I use my expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to design, edit, and animate high-quality visuals that capture the attention and interest of the target audience.

With over a decade of experience in the fields of graphic arts, motion graphics, and illustration, I have developed a versatile and distinctive style that blends urban culture and fine arts. I enjoy solving problems and telling stories through my work, using different media and techniques to express my creativity and communicate the essence of the brand.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Wining Nationals in Track and Field in the high hurdles.

Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
My Track Coach Hoyt, he would go to trainings/conferences over the summer and come back to work on drills and various other workout to help get me better year after year until I graduated.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Very much so much, I say “the proof is in the pudding”, Try to build everyday one rep at a time.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I never stopped learning and growing. Keep on pushing the pixel, Kept learning new skills and tools and the world keeps on changing. That I’m not afraid to adapt to a situation no matter what the hardships are present. Sometimes you have to do alot with very little.
