Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?

Those of us who were lucky to have someone see something in us long before we saw it in ourselves know how impactful it can be.  We are thrilled to highlight some of those stories and honor some of the OG heroes.

At this point in my life I feel like a lot of people around me have made me better understand myself, but the biggest one career wise was Alessia, the salon owner. I believe My Guru saw me clearly before i really could start to see myself. Maybe it wasnt that he just saw me, he believed in me. My yogic studies and practice have come from the Ashtanga Yoga lineage tradition held at KPJAYI, in Mysore India. Thousands of students every year would apply to study with my Guru Sharath Jois.
