Today we’d like to introduce you to Wavie P..

Hi Wavie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a love for music and now I use it cathartically to get my thoughts and am always grateful when I find out that my music connects with others. It’s been quite the journey that started with a summer camp perfor.ance as a teen to releasing projects and performing on stages! If you don’t know by now, I go by Wavie P. (Was A Valuable Influence Everyday) and I’m songwriter that happens to rap lol

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Figuring out my sound and getting my quality together was one of the first major hurdles. Upon connecting with an engineer while working as a sushi chef, the pieces to that puzzle fell into place. The more I create, the more of a groove I get into,, the better the projects and singles I release.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m known for making hip hop/ rap music under the name Wavie P. What sets me apart is my work ethic and way that I approach creating music. I’m most proud of creating music that connects with people and receiving emails, messages, and direct contact about how they felt about my music. There’s no greater feeling than that!

How do you think about happiness?
Being in enjoyable environments–nature, around good, quality peope–, laughing at the simple qurks in life, andlistening to music right after I record it, these things allow me to decompress and be present in the moment.
