Meet Jeff Allison of Allison Outdoor Llc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Allison

Hi Jeff, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
This business started when I was in middle school and decided to start walking the neighborhood seeing if anyone needed their lawn cut. From there, it grew to a single Lawn And route during high school and transitioned into Lawn Care landscape and snow and ice management high school through now. We have been in business since 1999. Our mission is to create lifelong relationships with clients and team members while creating spaces of beauty and joy that bring together families’s friends and communities. We have a high expectation of our team members with attention to detail and everything we do. We also strive to be sustainable in our practices as much as possible.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were many struggles along the way, including the 08 recession. We were happy to not have to lay anyone off as we morphed and did things that were out of our normal scope to stay in business and keep the lights on. We have also survived the pandemic which caused many labor issues along with skyrocketing material costs and labor. We are proud to still be in business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Allison Outdoor Llc?
We follow industry standards, train our team ongoingly to those standards, pay our team, a livable wage as well as benefits, we are a brick and water company who has been in business for 25 years, and our motto is do it right the first time and we are human and if we don’t, we come back and make it right. We have a high standard. We offer anything from weekly lawn, cutting to monthly bed and garden maintenance and trimming to landscape design build and installation to snow and ice management for commercial properties.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
When we were kids coming from a divorced family getting to have Christmas eve at my grandmother’s, who are very close friends with their neighbors and they used to have a Christmas Eve party every year and then Christmas Day we would wake up open our presence and go and visit my grandma on my dad side and spend breakfast there with the family
