Hi Brandon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
When I graduated from Michigan State University, I felt like I was starting over. I was lost, with no direction or plan on how to start my adult life. I took a leap of faith and decided to pursue my passion of fitness, even though I had no idea what I was doing. Since then, I have kept an open mind to every opportunity and have always maintained the mentality of a student. But above all, I fell in love with the process and built a career that I can happily do for the rest of my life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not been a smooth road. One of the most common struggles that I still encounter on a daily basis is uncertainty. It’s difficult to know whether every decision is the right one. Sometimes the decisions you make may even have a negative impact down the road that you can’t foresee. But I’ve learned that it’s important to maintain confidence in yourself regardless of the mistakes you may inevitably make.
