LAZAR FAVORS is a Dynamic CEO and Founder with a strong background in the spirits industry. He Established Black Spirits Legacy in 2021 and organized the Taste of Black Spirits/Liquid Forum Exhibition conference. Demonstrates excellent leadership skills, securing capital for emerging products and establishing distribution and partnerships with Black-owned spirit brands, companies, distillers, and distributors. Proficient in marketing plans and market management readiness, with a deep understanding of relationship building and shelf placement causation. Developed and executed marketing plans to drive brand awareness and increase market share.
Implemented market management readiness strategies and optimized shelf placement for maximum visibility and sales impact.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing historically incredible or extraordinary is designed to be easy or simple.
I think all great things have a certain Level of difficulty. I am a solutions driven thinker and doer therefore my approach is to evaluate what is considered a problem, but my concentration is to be Lasar focused on finding and implementing a solution for what ever the problem is. If you think of business like traveling in a car on a pothole filled highway, The smoothness of the road depends on the choice of vehicle we decide to drive and what standard equipment it comes with, do we have to update the ball barrings? are the tires threaded and sized appropriately with premium shocks and struts?
Is it a SUV our a midsize car? Whatever the case may be IT’S your road! and the more you travel down your road it can get bumpy at times, it will be smooth at times but as long as you are committed and discipline, You will arrive at your destination fulfilled and successful.

Trinity Films Entertainment Group (TFEG) is the driving force behind the BlackSpirits Legacy, which is part of a broader initiative that includes Detroit Black Film Festival, the Detroit Trinity International Film Festival, In Good Spirits, Inwaju Futurum Inc., The Fearless Tribe of Fantastic Filmmakers, and everydayimok.com. Founded by me and my wife Marshalle, We are committed to promoting sustainability and economic development within the film industry, as well as in the arts, racial equity, and life experience workshops. Their focus is on supporting up-and-coming entrepreneurs and businesses in Detroit— their home base— as well as in Brooklyn, Houston, and Atlanta, particularly those that are deeply rooted in African American culture. “Our mission is to elevate filmmakers, hospitality, apparel, and culinary arts while producing culturally relevant content and fostering relationships through innovative strategies. We aim to create an ALL THINGS ENTERTAINMENT VENUE.” This venue will offer essential tools, resources, and services to help emerging arts and hospitality sectors achieve their business aspirations.
Black Spirits Legacy, LLC is a brand development and marketing management firm dedicated to cultivating distribution opportunities and building connections for Black-owned spirit brands. Since its inception in 2021, the company has worked tirelessly to enhance Black representation in the spirits industry through premier events such as “A Taste of Black Spirits.” With a strong focus on crafting and implementing marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and market presence, it has plans to expand by launching conferences in cities across the U.S. and Nigeria by 2026.
How do you think about luck?
I believe in good energy, good people and good spirits. I collect good souls, what that means is I am diligently being the best version of myself causing a universal connection that attracts the best version of individuals who align with my purpose while simultaneously fulfilling their own.
I believe in taking in good things and then redistributing those things. So I think that the people I chose to build with, do business with and my loving wife contributes to the ” luck ” that I interpret as Love!
