Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began hearing about permanent jewelry in the fall of 2022 and instantly became intrigued. Once I started researching what permanent jewelry actually was, I quickly ordered all of my supplies and begin teaching myself how to weld shortly after. I was immediately obsessed, as were my closest girlfriends, and I had a feeling this permanent jewelry adventure would be a success. I would not be as successful as I am without the support I have received from my family, friends, and local community. I will continue to say that it is a blessing to own a business in the community where you have grown up in, and where you are currently raising your family. The connections and word-of-mouth business I have received has been amazing and I am so grateful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a smooth road with my business to get it where it is today, thankfully. I got into this business at the right time, before it grew to the popular trend that it is today. I am thankful to have the loyal customers that I do, and the support of local business owners to continue having me at their establishments. I think with any business, there comes struggles with rising costs of your product, so that is something I look forward to seeing a decrease in.

Permanent jewelry is clasp-less, hand welded, custom fit jewelry that lasts forever. I offer gold-filled and sterling silver chains, with over 60 different styles to choose from. All of the chains that I carry will not tarnish, therefore making it possible to be worn “permanently”. Additionally, I carry over 50 different styles of connectors and charms to add on to your jewelry to make them more unique, and personal to yourself. Permanent jewelry is a great thing to get with a best friend, significant other, mom or daughter, as it signifies a connection between two people that creates memories that can last a lifetime. The different types of permanent jewelry that you can get include bracelets, ankle bracelets, necklaces, rings, hand chains, and even belly chains. The possibilities are endless on what you can create.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
The best advice I could give to someone starting a small business similar to mine is just to be yourself. Customers are drawn to your fun, bubbly personality, and that alone can continue to keep bringing people back. Offer honest, affordable pricing as it aligns with your business model. Work hard on your social media presence, as that can make or break a business. You always want to stay in front of your competitors. Social media is great for that and there is so much that you can do. Take advantage of all platforms available to you. A supportive family is key, so I wish that for you too!
