Today we’d like to introduce you to Joan D’Argo.

Hi Joan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am the founder and CEO of Dare to Shine Coaching and the visionary creator of The Way of the Wise Woman. Through private mentoring, group coaching, and transformational retreats, I help heart-based entrepreneurs and women navigating life transitions to reconnect with their innate divinity and claim the life—and world—they truly desire to co-create. My work is about more than mindset—it’s an initiation into embodied remembrance. A call to come home to the Wise Woman Within.

I was born with big, bold dreams for myself and the world. I knew I had a mission and vision that was meant to be shared. Today, I confidently guide my clients to live the life of their dreams by letting the sacred lead. But it wasn’t always this way.

For much of my life, I was overcome with anxiety and self-doubt. Even though I knew what I had to say was important, I’d freeze up. But the message I knew I was meant to share would not let go of me, and I deeply wanted to be of service.

After spinning my wheels in the hyper-masculine do, do, do mode for years, I realized I was no closer to owning my gifts and claiming my mastery than when I started. There was nothing left to do but surrender. And that’s when my intuitive channel fully opened. It was during this potent awakening that The Way of the Wise Woman was downloaded to me.

To keep myself grounded and in my body, I’ve been practicing and teaching qigong for 18 years, one of my greatest joys. I was guided to create the Way of the Wise Woman Qigong Flow. With 18 flowing movements, each created to help dissolve the perceived separation between us and our divinity, this flow helps us embody and fully merge with our Wise Woman Within.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For many years, I was consumed with anxiety and self-doubt. One particularly exasperating experience stands out during my time as an international Greenpeace campaigner. I vividly remember sitting in a high-powered strategy session with 30 confident leaders from around the world.

I was spearheading a groundbreaking, highly successful campaign, and everyone was eager to hear my insights and visionary ideas. Inside, I knew what I had to say was important, but every time I tried to open my mouth, my heart began to pound, my face turned bright red, and I’d clam up. I found it impossible to share the creative and unique strategies that made my work so successful.

Perhaps you can relate. If so, you know how frustrating this can be! There’s nothing more disheartening than being unable to share your gifts.

After this experience, I promised myself that I would learn how to stand confidently in my life and joyfully express my gifts. But there was more personal healing to do before than could happen.

I spun my wheels for years, telling myself that if only I tried harder, worked harder, and did more, my dreams would come true. Eventually, I realized I was no closer to owning my gifts and claiming my mastery than when I started. There was nothing left to do but surrender. That’s when my intuitive channel opened, and I began letting my Wise Woman Within take the lead.

Through Her guidance, I let go of false beliefs that told me who I am and what I do would never be good enough. I let go of the all-consuming do, do, do mode and welcomed more stillness and quiet into my life. I stopped pushing the river and cultivated divine feminine flow within.

Fast forward to today, public speaking, spiritual mentoring, and guiding groups through transformative experiences are some of my greatest joys. Today, I stand confidently in my light.

Why do so many of us doubt our abilities and second-guess ourselves? Over centuries, we’ve been conditioned to outsource our power, give it away, and question our intuition.

Growing up, I was never told I was born with an infinite well of divinely guided wisdom. That was definitely not part of my educational curriculum. I bet it wasn’t part of yours, either!

Through my business, Dare to Shine, I help others remember what may have been forgotten and what was always theirs to begin with: they are divine light beings able to co-create the life and world they desire.

My work is about more than mindset—it’s an initiation into embodied remembrance. A call to come home to The Way of the Wise Woman Within, the divine feminine embodiment of your Soul. No matter how we identify, we all have a Wise Woman Within because we are all blessed with divine feminine nature.

The Way of the Wise Woman is completely antithetical to the dominant paradigm we are breaking free of now, and is the missing piece to restoring harmony on our beautiful planet, Gaia.

It’s grounded in the belief that co-creating heaven on Earth is not only possible, it’s inevitable. Because we are currently experiencing a significant evolutionary period marked by the rise of the divine feminine, the conditions are ripe to begin co-creating heaven on Earth once again.

My husband and all my teachers.

My husband may not totally understand everything I do in my business, Dare to Shine, but he has always fully supported me. He can see the joy in my eyes when I’m in my element, co-creating my offerings, and that brings him joy too. What a gift from him!

All my teachers have helped me to be the person I am today. And for that, I have much gratitude!
