Hi Tara, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is one of resilience, faith, and the power of unwavering support. To truly understand my journey, I encourage you to order my book, Behind the Smile: No Longer Broken.

I’ve been blessed to work with incredible people like Gary G, Teddy Riley, the Millennium Tour, Keith Sweat, and Pleasure P. Along the way, my extended family—because they’re more than friends—has been my greatest support system.

Living with my cousins Momo and Ashley, we made a pact to pursue our dreams with determination, and that’s exactly what we did. This journey is proof of what faith, perseverance, and love can accomplish.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road—far from it. My journey has been filled with challenges, from personal trauma and health struggles to navigating the ups and downs of building my dreams. There were times when I felt broken, but I refused to let those moments define me.

One of the biggest challenges was learning to let go of the hurt caused by others, especially those I once trusted. Forgiveness became a personal battle, but it was necessary for my healing. Financial struggles, self-doubt, and the pressure of breaking through in competitive industries were also hurdles I had to overcome.

Despite the difficulties, every struggle taught me something valuable. They shaped my strength, resilience, and determination to not just survive but thrive. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every step. Each setback became a setup for a comeback, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in public relations and am proud to have built a career working alongside some of the most iconic names in the industry. As the PR for Mr. Gary G, CEO of G Squared Events, I’ve had the privilege of working on legendary tours like the 90s Block Party, the Legacy Tour, and the Millennium Tour—unforgettable experiences that showcased the best in entertainment.

But that’s not all—I also serve as the assistant to the legendary Teddy Riley, a true pioneer in music. Working with a visionary like Teddy has been an incredible honor and a constant source of inspiration.

What sets me apart is my passion, drive, and the ability to take my clients’ visions to the next level. Whether it’s managing PR for high-profile events or assisting a musical genius, I bring creativity, dedication, and unmatched energy to everything I do. I’m most proud of being part of projects that not only celebrate artistry but leave a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
