Today we’d like to introduce you to Batoul Ayoub.
Hi Batoul, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been passionate about interior design for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Beirut, Lebanon, I loved rearranging the furniture in my parents’ home, sometimes in ways that weren’t exactly practical, but I was always driven by creativity and curiosity. At ten years old, my family moved to the U.S. in search of a better life, and I knew from early on that I wanted to pursue something in the arts.
Initially, I considered graphic design, but life led me down a different path, one that turned out to be exactly where I was meant to be: interior design. After earning my degree and working in the field for a while, I took time off to focus on raising my children. Once they were older, I decided to follow my dream fully and launched my own interior design business in 2022.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of designing a variety of spaces, from coffee shops to restaurants and dessert shops, and it’s been more rewarding than I ever imagined. Every project reminds me why I fell in love with design in the first place: the ability to transform spaces and bring creative visions to life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been the smoothest road, like any business, there have been plenty of ups and downs along the way. I had to learn a lot on my own, from managing every aspect of the business to balancing design work with all the behind the scenes responsibilities. It’s been a journey of constant growth and learning.
But despite the challenges, I truly love what I do. Every project reminds me why I started this in the first place and proves that all the hard work, long hours, and dedication are absolutely worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Most of my work has focused on coffee shop design, which has been an exciting niche as they continue to grow in popularity across the U.S. But I love commercial projects of any kind, from restaurants and dessert shops to retail spaces and offices. Each project brings a new opportunity to be creative and design something that feels unique, inviting, and full of character.
I’m proud of every project I’ve taken on because I truly pour my heart into each one of them. My goal is always to make every space feel unique, inviting, and memorable, somewhere people genuinely love to spend time in.
What sets me apart, I believe, is my personal approach to design. I take the time to really understand my clients, their story, their brand, and their vision, so that the final result feels authentic to them. I don’t just design beautiful spaces, I try to create experiences that reflect who they are and what they want to share with the world.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The best way for people to connect or work with me is through Instagram, that’s where I share most of my work and where many of my clients first reach out. Once someone inquires, I schedule a meeting or phone call to get to know them better and learn more about their project, style, and vision. That initial conversation helps me understand what they’re looking for and how I can bring their ideas to life.
As for support, simply following along on Instagram, engaging with my work, and sharing it with others means so much to me. Every bit of support helps my business grow and allows me to keep doing what I love, creating beautiful, meaningful spaces.
