Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacy Jewell

Hi Lacy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been someone to explore any creative outlet that is available to me. I’m a musician, I love fashion, and I have always loved to create projects with my hands. On Tiktok, I found a community where I could share what excites me and after 4 years, I have built a community of over 166k feeling connected to what I do.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes and no. Yes it has been easy because I have always loved to share what I create and Tiktok was such a perfect fit. I love getting excited over something and finding other people who share similar feelings. It’s such a blast. However, the balance between Tiktok, school, my hobbies, and my social life can be tough. As I’ve created more and more, I have fortunately gotten to turn what I do into a part-time job. It’s all about how I can be smart about planning my day and fitting in what I love to do.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
On Tiktok, I am known for creating journal and lifestyle content. In 2025, I have found a love for “junk journaling.” Junk journaling is essentially collecting tangible memories from day-to-day live and sticking them into a journal. I have always been a sentimental person who loves to save things so this has been such a natural art for me to start doing.

Additionally, I love sharing my life on Tiktok. I’m a busy music major at Michigan State University and I’ve also found a community of people who enjoy what I share about that side of my life!

How do you think about luck?
Being a creator on Tiktok has been incredible for prepping me how to carry myself professionally. When I started to create relationships with brands and work on brand deals, I have had to learn how to market myself and carry myself authentically while still representing what a brand stands for. As I enter the professional world, I feel well equipped to handle what comes my way.
