Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendra Henley

Hi Kendra, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Have you ever walked through a store, craft shop, or even bakery and wondered, “Can I do that?”

That is how Kendra La Crème Cookies was born! After watching The Christmas Cookie Challenges for years on Food Network and seeing decorated sugar cookies throughout various bakeries and stores. I took the leap to decorate in 2019. Working as an elementary teacher, my time was limited. Since the first cookie set, I’ve grown to become a cottage food baker that absolutely loves helping people celebrate anything and everything with the help of a little sweet sugar treat.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like previously mentioned, my time was limited with being a school teacher. I would see designs and sets to attempt but had little time to do so. Once I established a system to practice and design, my excitement grew and so did my desire to share on social media.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I design, bake, and deliver custom sugar cookies for any and all events. From large corporate logos to intimate family gatherings and everything in between, Kendra La Crème Cookies provides the finishing touch to your dessert display.

In 2024, I began hosting cookie decorating classes. I’m so proud of myself for trying something new and giving others the opportunity to have fun, be creative with friends, and try something new!
