Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylee Bonnell.
Hi Kaylee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Kaylee, I just turned 23 years old. I have 2 golden retriever dogs that I love with all my heart. I started taking social media seriously about 2-3 years ago. I started posting consistently and finding my “vibe” that I liked to post. Once I started taking it seriously, that’s when I saw my numbers of followers climb. I love being in front and behind the camera. If I am not playing with my dogs, you can most likely find me outside taking pictures with my friends or making TikTok content. I discovered Lululemon about 6 years ago and fell in love with the brand. So, one day I posted a video about Lululemon on TikTok and it went viral. It had always been my dream to work with them but I didn’t think a huge brand like that would be interested in working with me. That didn’t stop me from chasing that dream. About 3 months ago I got accepted into their affiliate program. I have to say, that has been one of my biggest accomplishments!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, it has been a pretty smooth road. Some days I wake up and all I want to do is create content for my followers. There’s also the days that I doubt myself and think that maybe this content isn’t good enough. In the end, I’m myself in my videos and my pictures I post and that’s what seems to do well with views and likes. You really have to tell yourself that you are not going to make everyone in the world happy. What really matters is that you are doing what makes YOU happy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m pretty much known for my Lululemon videos and my reaction videos on TikTok. If I’m not talking about Lululemon, I’m talking about small businesses or smaller brands that I like supporting. I’m most proud of my recent ambassadorship with Lululemon. That has always been a dream of mine.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Doing what makes you truly happy. I live by 2 quotes, “Someone is always working harder than you” and “If you have the mindset that you won’t succeed, then you won’t”
